Dr Vincent Wong is Associate Professor of The Chinese University of Hong Kong. His main research interests include viral hepatitis, fatty liver and liver fibrosis. He has published over 120 articles in international medical journals such as Hepatology, Gut and Journal of Clinical Oncology. He has received a number of research prizes such as the Young Investigator Awards from Asia-Pacific Association for the Study of the Liver, Asian Pacific Digestive Week and the Japanese Society of Gastroenterology. He serves as a reviewer for 18 medical journals, and is an editorial board member of Alimentary Pharmacology and Therapeutics and Journal of Gastroenterology and Hepatology. Dr Wong is also active in community service and patient education. He is the Medical Director of the “New Life New Liver” Project, which provides free medical service and education to ex-intravenous drug users with viral hepatitis.
