Introduction
All
abstracts must be submitted and presented in ENGLISH via the submission system in the website. Abstract submission deadline is: Friday, April 29, 2011, Beijing Time 24:00. Late submission
will NOT be accepted. Amendments received after the closure of abstract submission will not be accepted.
All accepted abstracts will be published
as supplement issue in the International Journal of Infectious Diseases - the official publication
of the International Society of Infectious Diseases. All accepted abstracts will be made available to the participants on
CD-Rom.
All
submitted abstracts will be scored by reviewers according to categories and be allocated to Plenary Presentation, Free
Paper Presentation or Poster Presentation. Results will be announced on Monday, May 9, 2011,
via email and in the conference website.
Withdrawal of submitted abstracts should be made in written to the Conference Secretariat
(info@bjditan.org). Any request made after Friday, April 29, 2011
will not be entertained. Abstracts which have been presented in any international meetings of infectious diseases previously are NOT accepted.
Submission of abstracts does NOT constitute
registration for the Conference. All presenters are required to make registration for the conference separately.

Structure and content
- Abstract
title should be in initial capital/lower case, NOT all capitals.
- Please structure your abstract
using the following headings:
- Objectives
- Methods
- Results
- Conclusion - For
case report, please use the following headings:
- Introduction
- Case Description - Do
not include references/keywords in the abstract.
- Abbreviation should be spelled out, in parenthesis,
in the first use in the text.
- Use Italics only when appropriate (e.g. for the name of genus
and species).
- To avoid character corruption, please use only Arial or Symbol font.
- All abstracts submitted will be automatically edited according to the 5th DICID submission format. It is the
responsibility of the authors to review the submission and avoid any typing error in the abstract.
Word limit
- 300 words, including acknowledgement (200 words for abstracts with
any figures and graphs)
Tables, charts and graphics
- Maximum
2 graphic for each abstract (putting multiple graphics in one file is not accepted)
- Only JPG/BMP/TIF
formats are permitted
- Maximum width of graphic: 9cm. Maximum resolution: 150dpi
